Stop Filming, Start Dancing

A recent instagram video from DJ Bob Sinclair asked people to stop filming and start dancing.

I have seen a few videos now where people at clubs are literally standing still with phones in their hands and too worried about videoing the environment to prove they have been to the gig? post on their feed later and are living their life through a lens.

Then I saw this post by Katherine Martinko, The Analog Family, who discusses why phones are “experience blockers” and how putting away a phone is not anti-tech, it’s pro-experience. I love that.
