Günther calls for social media ban for under 16s

Schleswig-Holstein’s Minister-President Daniel Günther (CDU) has called for a ban on social media for children under 16. “As a state, we have truly neglected our protective function in recent years,” Günther told Bild am Sonntag . It is high time to initiate a paradigm shift and do everything possible “to ensure that children under 16 can grow up in our society truly TikTok-free, free from social media altogether.”
